HOWDY!

I started my craft back in 2019, making one-of-a-kind leatherwork and jewelry for family and friends. What began as a creative outlet quickly grew into something I loved, and in 2020 I decided to turn that passion into my own business.

You could say I was raised on the back of a horse. Horses and the Western way of life have been part of who I am for as long as I can remember. I grew up competing in youth rodeo, went on to ride with OHSET in high school, and continued into college rodeo. What started as a childhood love of horses eventually grew into a life centered around them. As I got older, that life took me beyond the arena and into ranching and backcountry.

The inspiration behind my work comes from a life genuinely lived in the West. I’ve spent years working as a ranch hand and managing pack stations, leading riders, packing horses and mules, and setting camps deep in the backcountry. From Oregon’s Eagle Cap Wilderness to Wyoming’s Wind River Mountains, I’ve traveled thousands of miles on horseback and had the opportunity to experience some of the most beautiful and rugged country in the West.

These days, I’m still a travelin’ gal, usually accompanied by my three wonderful cow dogs, three phenomenal horses, and my sweet little calf. The mountains, horses, cattle, wildflowers, old tack, weathered leather, and people I’ve met along the way all find their way into my work.

Every piece I create is individually inspired and made with the hope that it carries a little bit of that Western spirit with it. My art isn’t simply inspired by the so-called “Wild West” it’s inspired by the places I’ve ridden, the camps I’ve made, the animals I’ve worked beside and a way of life that has become a big part of who I am.

I hope you enjoy the character and individuality of each piece as much as I enjoy creating it—and that wherever it travels, it takes a little piece of the West along with it.
